BIO:

Rhys Meatyard is an artist, illustrator, and graphic designer based in Historic Roser Park in St. Petersburg, Florida. After years of working multiple jobs, raising a family as a single parent, and studying visual art and anthropology at Eckerd College, Rhys is now fully dedicated to the creative life he’s always dreamed of. His work blends bold imagery, sharp wit, and a deep sense of emotional resonance, often reflecting themes of absurdity, nostalgia, and dark humor.

Professionally, Rhys wears many hats: he’s the art director of a New Jersey design studio, the creative director for the independent record label Friend Club Records, and an in-demand freelance illustrator. His art has been featured in group exhibitions and on countless album covers, where his love of music and visual storytelling collide. Rhys’s artistic journey is grounded in resilience, shaped by experience, and driven by a lifelong passion to make meaningful, memorable work.
